The Paramount War returns — and this time, the cards tell the whole story. One Piece Card Game: The Time of Battle (OP-16) is the 16th main booster set in the One Piece Card Game, dropping players straight into the heart of Marineford — the scorched-earth clash between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Navy that the game hasn't built an entire set around since OP-02. The Whitebeard Pirates throw everything they have at the Navy to rescue Portgas D. Ace, the Marine Admirals stand as an immovable wall of so-called justice, and a ragtag breakout crew claws its way up from the depths of Impel Down to join the fray.

Six brand new Leader cards anchor the set, each pulled from a different corner of the conflict: Portgas D. Ace (Red), Monkey D. Luffy (Blue/Green), Buggy (Blue), Sengoku (Purple), Yamato (Black), and Marshall D. Teach (Black/Yellow). Both Ace (OP16-118) and Teach (OP16-119) debut as Secret Rares, while the set's headline chase is its Triple Manga Rare lineup — a first in the game's history. Kuzan (OP16-063), Sakazuki (OP16-065), and Borsalino (OP16-073) each receive a premium manga-style alternate-art treatment, and laid side by side, the three reassemble one unbroken, iconic image of the Marine Admirals from the war. The set also brings back the fan-favourite realistic-portrait Special Rare (SP) style that made OP-04's SP cards so coveted, and introduces the Prisoner of Impel Down card type — a genuine rules-breaker that lifts the standard 4-copy deck limit entirely.

A booster box contains 24 packs, with each pack holding 12 cards across Leader, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Secret Rare, Special Card, Treasure Rare, and DON!! Card rarities — 126+1 card types in total. Released in the West on 12 June 2026.
